352. Holly's Comet
I meant Halley's Comet.
This one actually isn't new; but I was re-introduced to it this morning. I think it warrants mention.
When I was young, this thing was called "Haley's Comet" or maybe "Hailey's Comet." It was pronounced HAIL-EE.
I never thought twice about the spelling, probably because the spelling didn't used to be wacked. Now the idea of some flaming space debris orbiting our planet and making appearances now and then definitely seems wacked.
- because *%$# always pops up in our hood again and again in the vastness of space.
Why do we have a moon, and not ten billion other little floating chunks of whatever WHATEVER I CAN'T UNDERSTAND THIS I'M GOING BACK TO BED
